ABOUT ME

I have over three decades of legislative and policy advocacy, lobbying, strategic organizing, campaign development, political and event planning experience, skills, and relationships with a proven track record of success.  I have relationships with key Connecticut legislative and policy leaders and an extensive network of coalition, non-profit, labor and advocacy relationships and partnerships.

My entire career has involved working in coalitions and partnerships to collectively advance policies, laws and system changes that have the ability to improve people’s lives and livelihoods.

I’ve worked on advancing rights, improving policies and effecting change for workers and labor unions, LGBTQ+ community, uninsured and under-insured people without access to equitable healthcare, victim/survivors of gender-based violence, children and families dealing with mental health issues and the lack of parity in our healthcare delivery system, incarcerated and formerly incarcerated persons, people who live in wheelchairs, rideshare drivers, casino workers, graduate student and post-doctoral research workers, and more.

During the 2023 legislative session, I worked with several groups both pro bono and paid because I believe I have a responsibility to use my knowledge, experience and skills to help groups advance their priority policy initiatives and help build the next generation of leaders through sharing what I have learned while learning, from them, new ways to look at old problems.

Everyone should have access to those with the power to make decisions and effect change.
